2021 Annual Meeting
The 2021 Annual Meeting of the Augusta Bar Association will be held on Thursday, January 21st at 4:00 p.m. in the Augusta-Richmond County Judicial Center’s Jury Assembly Room. The meeting will be abbreviated to only address the business of the Association and will follow social distancing guidelines. In addition, the meeting will be available for attendance via videoconference. Credentials to attend via videoconference will be shared prior to the meeting. We hope you can attend.
Allgood Award Nominations
The Executive Committee is accepting nominations for the Annual Robert L. Allgood Service Award. Please send nominations to the Augusta Bar Secretary at augustabarassociation1895@gmail.com by December 31, 2020.
The award recognizes a member of our bar who has exhibited exemplary service and commitment to the bar and the community over a substantial period of time. Such service may include service to non-profit organizations, religious institutions, recreational sports organizations, and/or professional associations. The Executive Committee will consider all nominations and decide who will receive the award at the Annual Meeting in January.
Announcement from Juvenile Court
The Richmond County Juvenile Court is now seeking applicants for 2021 attorney positions available for representation of youth and families. We are seeking attorneys who are able and willing to serve in each area to wit: Dependency, Delinquency, CHINS, and Traffic. Please email all resumes to the Honorable Keith B.
